Winning the Money Game

There are plenty of games in life. Some people even say that life is a game. You win some and you lose some. But one game that you cannot afford to lose is the "money game." In today's economy, there are a lot of people doing just that - some are drowning in credit card debt; some are going into foreclosure; and others are dangling on the edge of disaster.

Most people are living from paycheck to paycheck with nothing left over to secure their future or even handle a money emergency. It is a sad state of affairs when the majority of jobs being created in this economy are in the credit counseling business. We need to get a grip on our finances.

I know that at least once in every person's life, there may come a time when the need is great and the resources are few, but this should not be an ongoing crisis. There are things that you can do to restore your financial life. We will cover two areas in this section. One is to spend less and the other is to make more.

So, let's step back, take a deep breath, and look at those ways to establish some sense of financial stability in your life. You are not alone. Remember the old adage that "two heads are better than one." Soooooo- let the game begin!
