Ways To Make Sure Your Affiliate Marketing Site is Google Friendly |

|
Here are six ways to make your site search-engine friendly. |
In the current world of internet marketing, the success of your affiliate business relies largely on how "Google
friendly" your website is. Without a little nudge from search engines, you may never see your site on the most
coveted first page of the Google search engine listings. Since so many people visit Google.com daily, this is the
best way to reach as many customers as possible. So, what exactly is involved in making your website appealing to
the eyes of Google or Yahoo? Here I have lined up six ways to save you tons of time and money that would be
otherwise wasted on wrong affiliate marketing strategies:
Focus on Quality Content - With the amount of information available on the internet, it's easy to
copy other people's content and paste it on your own website; on the other hand, you may write original content
but, if it's not useful, important or relevant, then it will be frowned upon both by your reader's and the search
engines. Invest a bit of time in writing good quality articles for your website and this will have a viral effect
which will make you appear like a reliable affiliate marketer. By earning your reader's trust, they're more likely
to purchase goods from you.
Clear Out the Clutter - Search engines do not like clutter as it takes time for them to read java
scripts and they often get confused with nested tables. Instead, search engines like, and can relate very well
with, HTML text. Use this style of content and try to ensure you put keywords early on in your articles (but make
sure you feed them throughout the whole of the article too) as this usually pushes your website up on the
ladder.
Name Your Pages According to Your Content - Search engines also look at your domain name and how
it is relevant to what your page is all about. For example, naming your domain as panicattacksremedy (dot com) when
your product is a self-help ebook for people suffering from panic attack is a good idea. Doing this means that
search engines will consider your website as a dependable source of information for users on the internet.
Have a Site Map - Having a site map is a great way to organize your website and it makes it a lot
easier for your visitors to navigate around. The site map should try to have links that point to really vital
sections and pages of your site. Site maps are as appealing to search engines as they are to your visitors so
employ them when you can!
Write for Your Readers, Not Search Engines - I know I said that search engines play a very huge
role in the success of your business, but a lot of affiliate marketers, to their detriment, forget their readers as
they attempt to please the search engines with their content. Sometimes they place too many keywords or key phrases
on their articles and, if you put yourself in the shoes of your audience, you know that keyword heavy articles are
unpleasant to read. It's really important you create articles for your visitors to enjoy because they are your
future customers and, ultimately, the source of your income.
Never Trick or Deceive Your Readers - Google will remove sites from their index when those
websites do not confer to their quality recommendations. To avoid this, make sure you do not deceive your
customers. One way of deception that sites often get deleted for is by repeatedly using a popular keyword (that
isn't very relevant to the article itself) in Meta tags just to get users to click on it. Google isn't stupid, so
don't try to outsmart it!
Remember, the key is getting the balance between pleasing the search engines and giving your readers the content
that they really deserve.
